Iphone Apps Reviews: Review of AquaForest for Iphone and Ipod Touch

Thinking about buying and downloading AquaForest for iPod Touch and iPhone? Here’s a quick review of AquaForest.

The new update came out for the iPod Touch and the iPhone. This update enables both products to play many applications. So many people are browsing the App Store wondering what they should get. Well one of the applications that you should get is AquaForest.

AquaForest is a very awesome application designed for creativity. In this application, you can create water, heat, walls, elastic strings that you can dangle stuff from, and many other things. While it seems at first that this game could be boring, it really captures the interest of creative people. When you create water by just swiping your finger across the screen, the water is then pulled down gravity (which you can turn off in Settings) to the bottom of your iPod or iPhone. Then the water reacts to every single tilt that you make. This feature is really cool. But you can do many things with the water. You can make it evaporate by creating heat, you can draw your own boat and make it float on the water, and many other neat things. You can also create walls to make your own mazes to move objects through, you can draw yourself a house and then burn it all down with fire, and you can do many other cool things with the wall feature. AquaForest is really amazing because everything that you create reacts to each other based on real-world physics and properties. For example, anything heavier than water will, of course, float to the bottom of any water that you have on the screen. Also, when you mix the right things, they will combine and make another different substance. In AquaForest, you can also play around with the puzzles that come with the application. Some of the puzzles include mazes and combining different things such as water and heat. This game is very amazing and it allows you to take your creativity as far as you want.

One thing that I do have to say about AquaForest is that it does have one problem. When you have only one or two things going on at the same time, things move smooth and they move at a nice speed. When you have a bunch of things going at the same time or if you have a lot of water on the screen, things start to move slower than normal. I don’t like this because it kind of ruins the fun of this game. The slow moving water and objects is a real turn-off. But usually, things move nice and smooth.

AquaForest is a great application for the iPod Touch and the iPhone. I highly recommend it and it is definitely worth $7.99
