So are there really cheat codes for Guitar Hero 2? Yes there are. But even though they’re in the game labeled as cheat codes, they’re not what you think of at first. At first, you’d probably think that the Guitar Hero 2 cheat codes help you play perfectly. Or you would probably think that the Guitar Hero 2 cheat codes would help you do tricks during the game. But really they’re just codes that add things to the game.
          One Guitar Hero 2 cheat code is: yellow, yellow, blue, yellow, yellow, orange, yellow, yellow. This cheat code actually makes the game harder because it takes away the display of the notes and you would have to memorize the song. Some people can pull it off, but it is pretty hard. Another cheat code is: yellow, yellow, blue, orange, yellow, blue. This cheat code just gets rid of the guitar your character is playing so then they look as if they were playing air guitar. What’s the point of that? There isn’t a point. A third cheat code is: blue, orange, yellow, orange, yellow, orange, blue. This cheat code just makes the whole audience have eyeballs for heads. So I guess that’s kind of cool, but it is still pretty pointless. One cool cheat code is: orange, yellow, orange, orange, yellow, orange, yellow, yellow. This cheat code makes flames come out of your character’s head and it makes him or her look awesome. One more cheat code is: orange, blue, orange, yellow, orange, blue, orange, yellow. This cheat code makes the notes on the screen seem to go faster when it really isn’t. And this cheat code can really mess you up when you’re playing.
          So basically, the cheat codes for Guitar Hero 2 aren’t really cheat codes that help you play better. The cheat codes just are a complete waste of time and are completely pointless. I mean, who would want to put in cheat codes for Guitar Hero 2 that make you memorize the songs? I wouldn’t want to.  All of the cheat codes are just add-on things in the game that you can do. So if you want to play perfectly, just practice!    Â
