1# A guy lives on the 34th floor of an apartment building and everyday he always takes the elevator down to got to work. When the day's over and he comes back home he goes the the elevator and presses the 15th button, gets off on that floor, and walks the rest of the way back up to his apartment without making any stops.
Why didn't he just press the 34th button?

He's too short to reach the 34 button

2# A girl is stuck in a metal room with no windows or any way of getting out except a door that is locked.
In that room is a table, piano, saw and bat.
Since the girl was very smart she found out a way to use each of these items to get herself out and also one way of getting out with just using herself.
There are four ways. What are they?

a)She can swing the bat three times and then she's "out".
b)She can use a piano "key".
c)She can saw the table in half to make two halves and then put them together and she'll have a "whole" (hole).
d) she runs around the room until she wears herself "out"

3# An old rich man was counting all of his money when he got a phone call. He put it all away except for one one-hundred dollar bill so he could test wether or not his staff were trust worthy. When he came back he noticed it was gone and he asked the maid if she had seen it. She said yes and that she had put it in a cabinet so as for safe keeping.
They checked but it was gone. They asked the cook if he had seen it and said yes and that he had put it underneath a vase as for safe keeping. They checked but it was gone. They asked the butler if he had seen it and he said yes and that he had put it in a book between the pages 5 & 6 for safe keeping.
It was gone. They asked tha gardener and he said he hadn't seen it at all. Who stole the money?

you can not put anything between the pages of five and six.

#4There’s a fox, a bag of seed, and a chicken across the river from the farm. You have a boat that can carry you and one other item. The fox can’t be left alone with the chicken and the chicken can’t be left alone with the seed. How do you get them all across?

You take the chicken across, bring the seed across, take the chicken back, bring over the fox and return for the chicken again.

#5brothers and sisters I have none, that man’s father is my father’s son

the man is his son

Four men sat down to play.
They played all night till break of day.
They played for gold and not for fun.
With separate scores for everyone.
When they had come to square accounts,
They all had made quite fair amounts.
Can you the paradox explain,
If no one lost, how could all gain?

Money to news to anything you desire,

I have the ability to burn without fire,

I can take you anywhere & everywhere

& yet the whole time you & I will just stay here,

I have no doors but most of the time I have windows.

What am I?

E. Nigma. Your riddle is has a bit of a problem...the problem is: You shouldn't say he left town on friday then returns on friday. It should be he left town on friday and somehow returns by friday.
Then it makes more sense and becomes alot more complicated.
