Cute Labrador Retriever Puppy The Labrador retriever is one of the premier hunting dogs available on the market. They are often used in all sorts of waterfowl hunting, including duck and goose hunting. In addition to those strong hunting skills, Labrador retriever puppies are wonderful house pets.

Labrador retrievers come in three different color styles. These three most common forms are Chocolate, Yellow, and Black. Though each color style has its own distinct physical traits, they all share the basic lab look. Labrador retrievers have a large, muscular body topped off with blocky head. Yellow labs are known for their pink noses, which are different than the brown noses that their chocolate and black counterparts sport.

Labrador retrievers are great pets for families with young children. As puppies, they are clumsy, playful, and relatively harmless. It is important that they are taught to sit at a young age, because their unintended clumsiness can knock over young children or the elderly. Beyond that, they make great house pets for families, though.

In addition to that, Labrador retrievers are known for their ability to learn many different talents and skills. Not only do they take quickly to skills associated with duck and goose hunting, but they also learn quickly to do other things. House training, for example, is substantially easier for these intelligent dogs than for other breeds.

Labs can sometimes be mistaken as very aggressive animals, even though they are really just playful. They love other dogs, especially other young lab puppies. In their play time, they can sometimes look like aggressive animals, even though they aren’t particularly aggressive.

There are certain health problems that are common to the Labrador retriever. Like with many large dog breeds, they sometimes fall victim to hip and elbow dysplasia. It is difficult to diagnose this condition at an early age, so purchasing a Labrador retriever with good background credentials is always a good idea. In addition, ear infections are common to the lab because of the covered ear canals.

Labrador retrievers are some of the most balanced dogs in the world. Not only can they perform many different functions, but they are also great house pets. They live long, healthy lives and are known to be some of the most mellow dogs available. If you treat a lab puppy like a part of the family, it will grow to appreciate your home and leave a lasting impression.

    Labes are really cute. We had a one years ago and she was so pretty and sweet.
