The Jack Russell Terrier is a dog that dates back as far as the 19th century and it has a history of being a very robust and happy dog. It has its roots in England during that time, when it was used for the very noble sports of fox hunting. This sort of fox hunting was one of the most gentlemanly games of their time, meaning that the Jack Russell Terrier became one of the classiest dogs in England. Today, the Jack Russell Terrier retains that class in the United States are a beautiful house pet.

Jack Russell Terrier puppies are characterized by their coloring, which includes spots of brown and white. Jack Russell Terriers are sturdy, hardy, and they have a strong frame. Though they are not big, they do have quite a bit of zeal for such a small dog. What they lack in size, they more than make up for in spunk.

When it comes to their owners, the Jack Russell Terrier is a very devoted animal. Jack Russell Terrier puppies learn at an early age that their owner is a very important part of their life. They develop a strong devotion to their owner and the people that they live with. Jack Russell Terriers can get along well with children because of their playful manner. They are very fast, meaning that if they don’t want to be caught by a child, they will not be caught.

While they might excel in getting along with children, Jack Russell Terriers do not get along well with other dogs. They have a big of an attitude and can be obnoxious. Other dogs often find the small terrier to be a bit of nuisance. If a Jack Russell Terrier is raised with another dog, it will get along fine with that dog. Other dogs will create quite a problem, though.

There are no real health problems that are unique to this breed. As with all puppies, there is a chance that the health will fail. The best mode of action is to keep a check on the eyes, ears, and nose in order to ensure the dog’s overall health. Constant trips to the vet are a must during the first few years.

   They can be hyper but they are extremely smart and easy to train. Very loving & loyal!
