Rare Einstein photo: Einstein blooper
This is a rare, vintage photo, just discovered in a drawer that was once at Marilyn Monroe’s house.
The photo is so unique in part because it is one of a very few Albert Einstein Bbooper pictures. There have long been rumors that sometimes when Einstein was alone in a classroom, he would write strange things on the board, and then try to erase them before anyone would see them. This is the only known picture in which the photographer caught Einstein in the act. Einstein looks at the photographer who had barged in the room, surprised and embarassed. The photo was taken shortly after rumors of his brief affair with Marilyn Monroe surfaced.
The photo is expected to fetch over $200,000 at an upcoming auction.
