The GED must be taken at a local GED test center and cannot be taken online. The five parts of the GED test are: Language Arts, Writing, Social Studies, Science and  Mathematics. The five tests are designed to measure the knowledge and skills that a student should have acquired after four years in high school.

Test 1 Language Arts: 

Writing Part I    75 minutes   Up to 50 questions.
